Recruitment News for Sharpstream Life Sciences in 2008

Our objective at Sharpstream Life Sciences for 2008 is to become the leading global provider of specialist talent acquisition and consulting services to the thriving life sciences sector.

To date we have specialized in providing our clients with retained global executive search and selection services, and in this area we have developed a solid reputation within the market. This success has facilitated the Company’s rapid growth (52% year on year since it's creation in 1999) within our existing operations in London and Philadelphia and prompted the opening of offices in Shanghai (early 2008), with operations set to open in Switzerland and the West Coast of the USA by the end of 2008.

In line with these plans for continued growth and in order to achieve our overall objective of becoming the largest search and selection services provider to the life sciences industry we will be initiating an intensive recruitment program. This is set to run throughout 2008 and our objective is to double in size by the end of the year.

This is an ambitious plan and we have put together an exciting recruitment strategy to ensure that we attract and retain the level of talent that we require in order to provide our clients with the level of quality service that they have come to associate with the Sharpstream Life Sciences brand. This strategy is centered on training, development and financial reward.

In each of our office locations there are experienced and successful teams of Researchers and Recruitment Consultants, led by both a Deputy Team Leader and Team Leader. These global teams, in turn, are managed by a decentralized management team and centralized group of business services professionals.

This year, we are seeking to recruit and train talented individuals from various backgrounds.

 Training

Upon joining our team, the new joiner will be provided with an intensive training program, which will ensure that they are equipped with the skills and industry knowledge to provide our clients with a highest level of quality research and consulting service. Throughout their time at Sharpstream Life Sciences, they will have the benefit of the guidance from internal experts and externally provided training.
