Search methodology:
Sharpstream first agrees the scope of each assignment ensuring it has a clear understanding of the company, its culture, its objectives, the role for which a candidate is sought and the type of person required.
It uses its own network of sources, its own databases and, importantly, its own in-house research and market insight to produce an initial "long" list of targets (potential candidates) for a role. Its network produces around 50% of the candidates it puts forward for roles, with quality being illustrated by a more than 80% conversion rate from those coming through this route. Understandable then, that Sharpstream places great emphasis on targeted networking and investing in in-house researchers to produce results.
During this initial phase, which may last up to six weeks, clients are kept fully informed and progress is systematically reviewed. Feedback is provided on market reaction to the client, comparative salary data and other information in the form of an interim report three weeks in.
Sharpstream interviews and evaluates qualified candidates on its "long" list streamlining this by, uniquely, using a detailed qualitative and quantitative assessment it has developed to ensure a match to key selection criteria. This results in increased client satisfaction and shortlist acceptance. A detailed profile of each shortlisted individual is produced for the client, with a full appraisal against the client’s agreed specification.
Sharpstream participates with clients and candidates at every stage of the process. It provides support during the interviewing process, liaising with the preferred candidate to iron out any points which may stand in the way of a successful outcome. Once an offer has been made, Sharpstream obtains any references required by the client.
Service does not end there. Sharpstream maintains contact with both client and candidate once the candidate has joined an organisation to ensure integration into the company is smooth and successful.
